Christmas is that time of the year when you’re reunited with your family and everyone’s in vacation mode.
It’s a time to celebrate and have fun. It’s the time of the year when you’re supposed to leave all your stresses behind and truly enjoy the spirit of the Holy event.

This Christmas, let go of yourself and truly enjoy yourself in the holiday season.
Let go of whatever diet you’re following and live in the moment.
This is a very important step because eating healthy and cutting back on junk food is not a choice that you make for a few months, it’s something that you need to choose for your whole life ahead. It’s a lifestyle.
In order to make sure that you truly live this lifestyle, it’s important to give yourself treats and breaks occasionally, and well, Christmas is that time of the year when everybody should enjoy some treats that you typically don't.
This way, your compliance with your healthy lifestyle will be better because you won’t feel guilty about not enjoying your Christmas to its full potential.
When there’s no guilt, you’ll be able to get back on track and cut back on junk food more easily after Christmas is over!
Starting a new healthy eating style is all about...
*creating new habits
* having accountability
* having realistic expectations
If you expect yourself to stick 100%, 365 days a year to your healthy eating habits you unfortunately are setting yourself up to collapse when you fail to meet your unrealistic expectations.
Therefore, this Christmas, don’t hold any unrealistic expectations related to your diet. Eat with responsibility and have a stress-free holiday.
I’m not promoting unhealthy eating, I’m all in for a nutritious and healthy lifestyle, but there comes a point when its OK to sit back, relax and live in the moment.
Christmas is exactly that type of an event!
